Gwyn has been involved in the scuba industry in one way or another for the past 20 years.
He became a PADI instructor in 2000 working in a large dive center in the UK. Gwyn then traveled extensively across South East Asia stopping for a brief period on the Andaman Island and working as a guide in Egypt & Australia's Great Barrier Reef
Having worked on environmental fuel projects/business for the last 10 years and successfully co-designing & bringing to market a range of environmentally friendly gas generators that are sometimes used in the commercial diving operations, Gwyn then left the industry and shifted his focus to marine conservation. After diving in Thailand for the last few years and realising that our marine life needed our help Gwyn set about organising a group that had a "No Compromise Attitude" toward marine conservation and in 2009 Dive Tribe was born. Since 2009 Dive Tribe has instigated a number of successful marine conservation projects in the Gulf of Thailand.

Dr Wayne Phillips / Consultant / Marine Ecologist
Wayne has been a lecturer in marine ecology at Mahidol University International College since 2003 but has been diving in Pattaya since 1997. He has extensive experience in conducting coral reef surveys and was instrumental in setting up the coral reef monitoring program on Koh Tao. His present research and work focuses on methods to protect and conserve coral reefs and he has instigated the shark tagging scheme taking place currently in the Gulf of Thailand. He is currently writing several marine ecology courses that we hope will assist in educating more divers as to the importance of coral reef.
Laird Allan / Consultant /Marine Biologist
Laird has become one of our senior consultants and has extensively helped Dive Tribe by giving lectures and working with students on a number of reef courses in Thailand

Steve Davies / Commercial Dive Consultant
Steve Davies started diving in 1971 at tender age of 11 which gives him over 40 years diving experience.
By 15yrs he became part of the dive training team in the local area pool.
Steve then joined the Royal Marines at 17 and continued underwater training in the service, mainly of a destructive nature !!
After leaving the military, he continued working in diving by doing H.S.E.Part 1 Diving certificate and worked in several countries and docks around the world in underwater demolition and construction.
Several years were spent as a diving supervisor overseeing all aspects and requirements of any particular commercial dive jobs.
Now Steve dives for fun, but continues to be very aware of damage being done by uncaring sea users.
He has helped Dive Tribe on all commercial aspects of our diving requirements and has a sound engineering background

Panutcha Bunnag / Thai Media Liason
One of our most passionate conservation officers, Oui is always there to help us with all our projects and always brings the Thai media along. Interests in underwater photography, Tech diving and of course conservation, Oui has become a regular volunteer with Dive Tribe. Its a joy to dive with Oui, she always has a smile and has a wealth of knowledge of the local dive areas.

A recent newcomer to diving Sassy, started diving in 2009 and has since worked tirelessly to bring Dive Tribe to the masses through social media outlets and worked on local community projects in and around Pattaya.
